Yakima Valley Community Foundation (YVCF) has an important mission: promote effective philanthropy to improve the quality of life for everyone in the Yakima Valley. Therefore, it is our commitment to unite individuals, businesses, charitable organizations and valuable resources in the most effective ways possible to solve the challenges facing our region.

Much of what YVCF does involves helping individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds to support the community work they care about most. It's also our job to make wise financial investments to grow these funds so that they remain a permanent endowment to help strengthen Yakima Valley communities today and for generations to come.

Thanks to the kindness of our many donors and strategic partners, YVCF funds now total $54 million. Using the interest earned alone, we now award more than $1.5 million in grants and scholarships annually. But we've got more work to do. So if you, like us, believe in neighbors helping neighbors, we would greatly appreciate your support.
