NEW MEMBERS JOIN BOARD FOR 2007

Yakima Valley Community Foundation has been strengthened by the addition of four members to the Board of Directors.  Joining the board on January 1, 2007 for their first 3-year term of office are Richard Esparza, Gina Gamboa, Paul Larson and Elizabeth McGree.  
 
Esparza, a resident of Grandview, is Principal of Granger High School. 
 
Gamboa, a member of the Sunnyside community, is a realtor with RE/MAX First Advantage, Inc.  
 
Larson,a Yakima resident, is Managing Member of the Larson & Perkins law firm.  
 
McGree, who is also from Yakima, is Vice President of JEM Development Company.
 
Welcoming the new members, YVCF board Chair Terry Abeyta commended them for their tremendous contributions to the community in other civic leadership roles, and thanked them for their willingness to serve in this new capacity.  "These new members bring valued skills and talents to our organization in many diverse areas, including community relations and social conscience.  We are very pleased that they have joined the Yakima Valley Community Foundation team."
